In Exodus 24:1-25:9, God leads the Israelites out of Egypt, performing miraculous acts to provide for and protect them. After their escape, He leads them to Mount Sinai, where He reveals His covenant through the Ten Commandments. Moses then spends 40 days on the mountain receiving further instructions from God. Among these, God provides detailed plans for a portable temple, which would serve as a model of His heavenly dwelling. This temple would symbolize God’s divine plan for salvation.
